Confidentiality Promise

Any information you disclose to SAFE@LAST through our helpline, this website or in person is confidential. However if you tell us that you, or someone else, may be at risk of harm we may have to tell an appropriate person/authority.

SAFE@LAST is a charity working with and on behalf of children and young people at risk through running away. Registered Charity Number: 1098980. Company Registration Number: 4473847.

Why we may collect your data Personal Information

You may at times be asked to supply personal information via the SAFE@LAST website. Personal information is anything that enables us to identify you in some way, such as your name and an email address.
If you supply such information, we are legally bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that such information is only used for the purpose for which it was requested and also to ensure that the data is held securely.


We may collect and record information in order for us to understand more about how our site is used and in turn to make sure that the site reflects your needs. To do this we may send cookies to your PC. A cookie is a small file that contains information that allows us to recognise that you have used the site before, but will not contain any other personal data. The SAFE@LAST does not rent or sell mailing details to any third party. SAFE@LAST may from time to time need to use the services of an Internet Provider.

The Helpline keeps all contact details in confidence. However, if there is a risk of someone being harmed, we may have to pass some details on to Social Services or the police.

If you use this site for information about fundraising, campaigning or supporting the work of SAFE@LAST, please let an adult know.
