It is very important to recognise that running away is a sign that something is not right in a young persons life.
Many children and young people run away from or our thrown out of where they usually live. Here are some of their stories

“I used to run away from home all the time. I am 11 and last year my grandad died. We were really close and I really miss him. I used to run away and go to his grave."
