“I used to run away from home all the time. I am 11 and last year my grandad died. We were really close and I really miss him. I used to run away and go to his grave. It was often late but I was so upset I didn't care if something happened."

“Mum and Dad were worried and reported me missing to the police who arranged for someone from SAFE@LAST to come out and chat with me a couple of times. They told me about it being unsafe to go to my Grandads grave on my own at night and chatted to me about him. It was good to be able to tell someone his stories. I don't run away to his grave anymore, but I still go and visit – in the daytime."
